Nimer Halima is the former treasurer of the Fatah Revolutionary Council of the Abu Nidal Organization, a Palestinian terrorist group known for committing numerous acts of violence during the 1970s and 1980s. Halima was arrested in Vienna, Austria in January 2000 while attempting to withdraw $7.5 million from frozen bank accounts belonging to Abu Nidal.
